We offer programs, workshops, curriculum design, in person and online courses that increase critical thinking, media literacy, and career readiness skills.

Our Goals

Urban Media Literacy’s ultimate goal is to improve our nation overall by helping to improve life in the poorest communities. The best tool for this is education. As Confucius spoke of thousands of years ago “Knowledge is the equalizer of poor men and kings”

Our Offerings

Marketing Apprenticeship- A learning program that teaches marketing careers
6 Week Ad Agency- A marketing pre-apprenticeship program. Students can earn Act 158 credit
Critical Thinking 101- Online Course that focuses on lowering recidivism by improving critical thinking skills
Comprehension 10 Pack-Online Course that develops reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
